Little Adventure Camp continues...

Since the summer went so well I've decided to continue my camp through the school year. Here are the details. Let me know if you are interested and have any comments or questions.

Little Adventure Camp or The Activity Spot (haven't decided on the name but since the blog is named Little Adventure camp I think I may stick with that)

When:

EVERY Tuesday

EVERY Wednesday

Ages 3-5 (or under 3 if potty trained)

Time: 9:15-11:15am

Cost: $5 per child per day.

What:

Your child will be doing some craft or sensory activity every day. Different craft/activity daily. Your child will not repeat the same craft if they come for both days.

Story time. I will assign your child a time when they will get to bring their favorite book to share with the class.

Computer time.

Play time

Games

I will provide a snack. Usually pretzels, Gold Fish and marshmallows. Let me know if there is something they can't eat.

There will be a sign up list if you want to volunteer to bring a snack for the class. This is fun for the kids and lightens my load every now and then.

Please bring your child with a sippy cup with a spill proof lid. Water please. Your kids get thirsty. :)

Payment- I do accept checks and cash. You can pay the daily or monthly.

There are a few days that camp will be cancelled.

My son is in a Joy school and every 7 weeks on a Tuesday I have school at my house for his group. So class will be cancelled that day. Only on Tuesday. I will give you plenty of notice when this will happen.

I will also be out of town for a week in September. Class will be cancelled that week.

Please pass this info on to anyone who may be interested.

If you get someone to come 5 times you will get a $10 credit to use for camp or anything else.

Parents Night Out!

5:00-8:30p

Saturday night- coming in September, October, November & December (Dates to be announced)

$10 per child!

Our First Parents Night Out -- is set for ... Saturday, August 27 from 5:00-8:30! Reserve your spot NOW! It fills up fast.

Send your kids to a great spot where they will be having fun doing a craft, eating dinner with friends, games, fun and a movie!

Mommy Moments

Summer Adventure Camp

Mom need a break? Kids need to stay active? Then Summer Adventure Camp is for YOU!

Ages 3-6 TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 9a – 11a

$5 Dollars per child

Come every Tuesday and/or Wednesday from 9 to 11:00

Starts Tuesday May 24th – July 27

Don’t let your preschooler loose what they have learned all year!

We will be doing many educational activities, computer work/keyboard skills, and fun arts and craft projects.

You can enroll for all 18 classes or just 1 class. Email or text me when you want to come… first come first serve. 10 kids per class. I will have a volunteer helping me each week.

Attached are the dates and “theme” for that week. These dates could change or be cancelled due to illness or other reasons. But mostly should be accurate.

Also attached is our daily camp schedule.

Week2 - May 31 & June 1 Van Gogh Canvas painting- Bring a picture of yourself. SMILE! (since we did this our "first" week, I will be doing an alternate craft in addition to Van Gogh self portraits)

Week 3 June 7 & 8 Sports Day- Wear/bring in something to show off your favorite sport. We will be outside a little. Craft. Story book.

Week 4 June 14 & 15 Animal day. Bring a picture of favorite animal or pet. Father’s Day craft. Story book.

Week 5 June 21 & 22 Gardening, we will be outside a little today. Planting gardens. Craft.

Week 6 June 28 & 29 4^th of July celebration- Craft, Learn about our country.

Week 7- NO CAMP- Happy 4th of July!

Week 8 July 12 &13 Ocean Life- Craft, Disney Ocean movie,bring your pillow and blanket if you want.

Week 9 July 19 & 20 Camping/hiking. Craft. Story. Bring a favorite book to share/read.

Week 10 July 26 & 27 (last day) Luau party! Craft, watermelon, water fight. We will be outside a little today.

CAMP ROUTINE

9:00 DROP OFF/Name and phone number

9:10 Outside or free play

9:20-9:40 Circle Time (games, songs)

9:45 Snack/water break (I will give a snack. Please let me know if your child is allergic to anything, snack will usually be Gold Fish or crackers)

9:45-10:45 Computer time/craft/activity

(rotating groups)

11:00 Circle time/Pick up

Some days indoor bounce house

One craft per day. Your child will not repeat the same craft if they come for both days.

I live off Mountain Rd. and Ray in Mesa, Arizona. Major cross streets are Signal Butte and Ray Rd.

Registration information

HOW TO REGISTER OR RSVP?

You can "register" or RSVP for any days you want. You can RSVP up to the morning of by email, phone or text. As long as the class is not already full you are welcomed to come.
